This year, CAHSMUN is proud to partner with Harvard’s first Model UN conference in Canada, taking place from May 28 - 31. For the first time, HarvardMUN Canada will host the Canadian Tournament of Champions (TOC), featuring three elite committees designed to deliver the most academically rigorous and intellectually stimulating debate experience. In the TOC, Delegates will have the opportunity to compete for the inaugural 2026 Canadian Championship Titles.

About Canada’s Tournament of Champions

What is the Tournament of champions?

The Canadian Tournament of Champions, or TOC, is a set of top-tier Model UN committees designed to crown Canada’s best delegates. These committees are run by HarvardMUN Canada. In 2026, the Canadian TOC will include three committees: one General Assembly, one Economic and Social Council, and one crisis committee.

The Tournament of Champions is an invite only set of elite committees run by HarvardMUN Canada. It is designed to bring top delegates into a higher competitive tier with stricter procedures and more advanced debate expectations.

How is CAHSMUN involved?

Under HarvardMUN’s new Tournament of Champions, CAHSMUN will serve as the West Coast Championship Qualifier. Delegates who place Best Delegate or Outstanding Delegate in qualifying committees at CAHSMUN this April will be formally invited to compete in the Tournament of Champions in late May this year in downtown Toronto, hosted by HarvardMUN Canada. Through collaboration, CAHSMUN becomes part of a national pathway that recognizes and elevates youth in Canada
