Thomas Chen | Director

As a Grade 11 student at St. George's School, Thomas is proud to serve as the Director of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) for CAHSMUN 2027. Thomas first joined Model UN with only two goals in mind: making new friends and boosting his resume. Three years, six conferences, and countless position papers later, Thomas has somehow accomplished both—and gained a passion for current affairs and negotiation along the way. From spending hours researching the most insignificant details to delivering speeches that sounded considerably better in his head, Thomas has made plenty of questionable decisions throughout his Model UN journey. Nevertheless, he remains immensely grateful for the memories, friendships, and occasional midnight feasts this one-of-a-kind community has given him. Outside the committee room, Thomas can usually be found listening to classical music or spending time with his dog. He hopes all delegates have an amazing experience at CAHSMUN!

Raina Fang | Chair

As her final year at Fraser Heights Secondary approaches, Raina is ecstatic to serve as the chair of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association committee. From starting as a new delegate that struggles to raise her placard, she has been incredibly grateful for Model UN as she developed public speaking skills and more importantly, gained many new friends and fun experiences. One of Raina’s most vivid memories from MUN was ordering Red Robins, Mcdonalds, and Fresh Slice on Uber eats in a single night. Outside of MUN, Raina loves to grind Cdrama (highly recommend WIFTY if you haven’t watched it yet) or rigorously doomscrolling on Tiktok and Instagram. Raina cannot wait to meet all the delegates of FIFA and for the exciting committee sessions.

Ethan Leung | Chair

As a junior at Vancouver College, Ethan is delighted to serve as the Chair for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. Ever since stuttering through his first MUN speech three years ago, Ethan has quickly developed a passion for Model UN, enjoying competition through diplomacy. Over the course of numerous conferences, MUN has fostered many great memories for Ethan, from struggling to wake up after late nights of fun to eating Chipotle at every conference. He hopes to provide delegates with the same great experiences he had. Outside of the committee room, Ethan can be seen annoying his neighbours by practicing the clarinet, playing sports with his friends, or mindlessly scrolling on his phone. Ethan wishes all delegates a fun weekend of passionate debate at CAHSMUN 2027!
