In the Cabinet Crisis Committee (CCC), delegates inherit the role of a governmental cabinet to navigate through time-sensitive crises from uprisingings to foreign threats. Each delegate holds a unique position with disparate authority and prerogative ranging from overseeing military operations to controlling a state’s treasury. Skill, cooperation, and quick-thinking are indispensable to success in this committee.

The Cabinet Crisis Committee is an advanced committee, featuring fast-paced developments and a high level of debate. Therefore, this committee is only open to the most experienced and competitive of delegates. The committee is conducted in Crisis Rules of Procedure. Position papers are mandatory for award's consideration in this committee.

Questions and inquiries for this committee can be emailed to ccc@cahsmun.org.

Jayden Chan | Co-Director

Crawling through his senior year at Steveston-London Secondary School, Jayden is beyond elated to be serving as a Co-Director at CAHSMUN 2026 for the Cabinet Crisis Committee. Ever since entering the world of MUN 2 years ago, he has gained an appreciation for all delegates, from gavelhunters to trolls (or both), and thoroughly enjoys all diplomacy that does and does not occur at conferences. From constantly ragebaiting all delegates of opposing blocs to eating everyone's food, Jayden has gained an insatiable addiction to this very fun and immersive world. When not participating in MUN-like activities, he can be found conducting laborious activities at school, utilising his atrocious violin skills, and moving in circles at the pool. Jayden is very excited for this weekend of diplomacy and cannot wait to meet everyone!

Daniel Feng | Co-Director

As a current student in his Senior year at Southpointe Academy, Daniel Feng is proud to serve as Co-Director for CCC for CAHSMUN 2026. Since walking into his first conference in grade 8, repeatedly trying and bumbling through his improvised speeches, Daniel has always had a great passion for MUN. From public speaking skills to late nights working on position and resolution papers to the heavy reliance on caffeine, there is no shortage of cherished experiences that MUN has provided. Now, he hopes to do the same for future delegates on their unique MUN journeys. Outside of committee rooms, he can be found taking a deep dive into various fictional media, content and lore. Frequently illustrating and analyzing myths and legends of ancient civilizations, and researching modern history. Daniel looks forward to creating a rich and educational experience at CAHSMUN 2026.

Anna Zhou | Chair

As a grade 10 student at Sentinel Secondary School, Anna is honoured to serve as one of the Chairs of the Cabinet Crisis Committee. She began her MUN journey two years ago, joining out of curiosity and quickly becoming captivated by the energy of debate, the unpredictable twists and challenges of crisis committees, and the unforgettable moments that come with every conference. Since then, she has found joy in the lively debates, the collaborative spirit of the committee, and the memories she makes at each conference. Beyond the committee room, Anna can be found curled up with a book, spending a little too much time scrolling on her phone, or laughing with friends over the most random conversations. She looks forward to an exciting weekend at CAHSMUN 2026 and cannot wait to meet all the delegates.

Parnav Kundi | Chair

As a grade 10 student at St. George’s School, Parnav is thrilled to be serving as Co-Chair of the CCC at CAHSMUN 2026. Parnav began his MUN journey back in Grade 7, delegating as Bolivia in WHO. Ever since that fateful day, he has begun to enjoy the research and insight into foreign policy that attending a MUN conference provides. At conferences, Parnav enjoys the early morning coffee runs with friends (if he can drag himself out of bed), the insightful debates, writing resolution papers after hours, and the late night chats with friends. When he’s not raising his placard “high and to the sky”, Parnav enjoys learning about US politics, playing sports, listening to music, or doing anything he can to avoid doing his homework. Parnav can’t wait for a conference full of exciting and lively debates, unforgettable fun, and a lot of other shenanigans.
