Canadian High Schools Model United Nations (CAHSMUN) is one of the largest conferences of its kind in Western Canada. CAHSMUN brings together high school students from all over the country to broaden their understanding of contemporary international issues through experiencing diplomacy and perfecting their professional writing, public speaking, negotiation and critical thinking skills. The CAHSMUN 2012 Conference hosted more than five hundred participants from over 50 schools throughout British Columbia alone, with participation from other parts of Canada and the world as well. Approaching its ninth year, CAHSMUN seeks to solidify its reputation by inviting students from across Canada and the world to this experiential educational opportunity.
The ninth session of the Canadian High Schools Model United Nations conference will take place from April 5th to 7th at the Sheraton Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver. Throughout the conference representatives from various national and international organisations will be present to welcome and guide delegates as they engage in life changing experiences. Building from the successes of the 2012 conference, we will be expecting over 500 delegates from around the world to come together and participate in a weekend of debate and political discourse that will mend as well as prepare these future leaders for the complex minutiae of international affairs.
In order for CAHSMUN to build on its successes and to increase accessibility, we need your support.
